This is a really lovely Jumeau doll measuring 24 inches. She has fixed blue paperweight eyes, pierced ears, a replacement cork pate and original real hair wig. She has a very small firing line to the top of the forehead, but apart from this the head is perfect and excellent quality.

I suspect that at some time years ago the body has had a very light repaint but it is not very obvious, just has to be mentioned for accuracy. One hand has had a more recent repaint.

She is wearing vintage clothing and dates around 1900.

This lovely Simon and Halbig DEP child doll measures 25 inches tall. She has a perfect good quality bisque head, with pierced ears, and an original card pate and replacement real hair wig.

Her eyes are blue and open and close. Her original body has a couple of not very noticeable paint touch ups, but is otherwise in very good condition. She wears old clothing and antique shoes, and dates around 1910.

Measuring 24 inches this cloth doll was bought in Paris and is in reasonable condition. She is just slightly grubby and her legs are a little floppy but she does have her original clothes and a characterful look. She dates 1930s.

This is the largest German shoulder plate doll of this type that I have seen. I am not sure of the maker but it could be Schilling or Cuno and Otto Dressel. She is in magnificent condition with masses of underwear and original clothing.

Her body is fabric and her lower limbs are composition, both clean and in mint condition. Her mohair wig is also excellent.The only fault she has is a tiny sliver of composition missing from under one eye. The doll is 30 inches tall and dates around the late 19th century.

I would prefer not to post this doll as I would worry about how to keep the eyes still in transit. She would have to be collected.

This lovely Jumeau doll measures just over 25 inches. She has a good quality perfect bisque head, and her colouring is gorgeous. She has fixed blue paperweight eyes, pierced ears, a replacement cork pate and original real hair wig.

Her body is mostly in very good condition with just the usual bit of wear, and a few rubs particularly on one hand. She still has the ‘Bebe Jumeau’ label on her back. She wears a lot of clothing, has a lovely expression, and dates around 1900.

This Armand Marseille child doll mould 390 measures a huge 34 inches and is really chunky. She has a perfect bisque head with open close blue glass eyes. The eyelids which are lacking most eyelashes, have all their eyewax and are in excellent condition.

She has her original card pate and a real hair wig. Her body is mostly in good condition, although one hand has had a finger repair. She wears lots of mostly vintage clothing and dates around 1910.

This adorable 22 inch Dream Baby is by Armand Marseille, mould 341, and is on a fully articulated cloth body with composition hands. Her body is mostly in very clean condition, although there is a bit of light staining to the lower legs.

Her hands have one finger repair, are a little rubbed, but good. Her bisque head is perfect, and the quality and modelling of it is excellent. She has blue glass open close eyes, rosy cheeks, wears lots of clothing, and is a really cuddly life size baby with a lot of character. She dates around 1910.

This is a pretty Bebe Elite child doll by Max Handwerk, measuring almost 23 inches. She has a perfect bisque head which is good quality and has lovely colouring. Her open close eyes retain all their eyewax and eyelashes. Her blonde mohair wig is a little thin but original.

Her body is playworn but good. There is a little chipped paint, a repaired finger and some toes to one foot have also been repaired. She dates around 1910 and has a really French look to her.

This is a fabulous SFBJ 236 known as the ‘Laughing Jumeau’ and measuring 23/24 inches. She has a perfect bisque head with lovely colouring, open close blue paperweight eyes with all their eyewax and eyelashes, and her original real hair wig and card pate.

Although the ends of her fingers have some chipped paint, her body is mostly in very good condition and the SFBJ label is still on her back. She dates around 1910.

This pretty Jumeau child doll is 25 inches tall, has a perfect good quality bisque head with fixed blue paperweight eyes, heavy brows, pierced ears, original cork pate, and a replacement brown hair French wig with lots of wringlets. Her body is in quite good condition, although there has been a bit of restoration to the back of one leg due to peeling paint.

This has been sympathetically done and does not really notice unless you look for it. Her hands have possibly been replaced at some time and are slightly later Jumeau ones, again not obvious. Her dress is lovely and original, with lace and tucks, and is mostly hand sewn. Her shoes and hat are also antique. She has the face of an early Jumeau doll, and she dates around 1890.

This SFBJ 60 child doll measures 26 inches and has a perfect bisque head which is excellent quality. She has open close lovely blue glass eyes with all her eyelids and eyelashes intact and her cheeks are rosy. She has her original card pate and a replacement real hair wig. I have the original wig to go with her although it is a little scruffy.

Her original body is an earlier SFBJ one and not the later one with big thighs. It is in good condition although there is some chipped paint around the wrist area. She was bought privately and her name is Georgina. She still wears the clothes I bought her in, although the shoes and an extra petticoat have been added. She dates around 1910.

This early Armand Marseille 390 is totally original and is very good quality. Her head and body are perfect. She is 20 inches tall, has fixed wrists, and all her original clothes, shoes, socks, wig etc. Her eyes retain all their original eyewax and lashes. I have restrung her but not cleaned her. She dates around 1900.
